Many Paths to Migration - One Journey to Success.

Your method of migration will depend on whether your services are based on a multi-tenant public cloud environment using the VMware Cloud Director or a dedicated private cloud environment without VMware Cloud Director, as well as an assessment to determine pre-requisites, minimize migration downtime and verifying post-migration success. Regardless of the method, you have the resources and support from VMware to make it happen.

Adopt Zero-Trust Security

Microsegmentation for L4-L7 advanced threat protection in private and public cloud environments.

Extend Networking Across Clouds

Multi-cloud enabling for seamless connectivity, consistent policy across clouds, rapid workload mobility and more…

Provide Container Networking and Services

Full-stack networking and security for containerized application workloads.

Modernize with Advanced Load Balancing

Software-defined load balancers or Application Delivery Controllers that deliver agility, scale and significant TCO savings.

Dedicated Private Cloud Environment

NSX for vSphere deployments that don't use VMware Cloud Director can start migrating today using either “In-place” or “In-parallel” methods, depending on your environment. "In-place" doesn't require dedicated hardware and uses NSX-T's built-in Migration Coordinator, if it can be used with your topology. "In-parallel" deploys NSX-T alongside the NSX for vSphere environment and migrates workloads in two ways: 1) new workloads are deployed on NSX-T and older workloads are allowed to be decommissioned over time; 2) workloads are lifted and shifted to the NSX-T infrastructure.
